Now, my country is promoting land greening at an average annual rate of over 100 million mu. The latest data released by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration shows that in 2024, my country completed 4.446 million hectares of forest afforestation, with a forest coverage rate of more than 25%, a forest stock exceeding 20 billion cubic meters, and 2.783 million hectares of desertified and stony desertified land were controlled, achieving a continuous "double reduction" of desertified and desertified land, and has become the country with the fastest and most greening growth in the world.

Now, the level of urban and rural greening and beautification in my country continues to improve. In 2024, more than 6,200 "pocket parks" were started and more than 7,300 kilometers of urban greenways were built. At present, my country has built 212 national forest cities, the greening coverage rate of urban built-up areas has reached 43.32%, and the per capita park green space area in the city has reached 15.65 square meters.

Now, the total output value of my country's forestry and grassland industry has reached 10.17 trillion yuan, and the forest food output exceeds 200 million tons, making it the third most important agricultural product after grain and vegetables.

This year, various places have actively explored innovative mechanisms such as forest land management, resource utilization, and forest rights financing to promote high-quality development of the forest economy.

In Nanping, Fujian, the local area has innovatively launched the "Forest Ecological Bank" model, attracting social capital to participate in forest economic development by integrating fragmented forest land resources, and exploring a new path for ecological value transformation.

In Tianhuangping Town, Anji, Zhejiang, the "Ten Thousand Mu Forest Economic Industrial Park Renovation and Upgrade Project" has been launched. In the future, the park will build characteristic functional areas such as tourist experience areas and forest camping bases, and strive to build a tourism industry cluster.

This year, my country will prepare and issue a land greening space plan, clarify future greening space, continue to promote large-scale land greening actions, implement precise improvement projects for forest and grass quality, and coordinate the promotion of integrated protection and systematic governance of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands and sands. Since March, the Three Norths have entered new construction seasons one after another, and various places have continuously increased the application of new models such as "photovoltaic desert control" and "mechanical desert control" in the tough battle of the "Three Norths" project. At the desert control site in Dengkou County, Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia, which is located in the "Jizi Bend" of the Yellow River, nearly 30,000 seedlings have been planted through innovative adoption of the "robot pit + artificial refinement" model. As of now, the "Three Norths" project has completed 3.5 million mu of construction tasks this year, and the start is good.
