CCTV News: According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in order to implement the "Action Plan for Digital Transformation of Manufacturing Industry" and in accordance with the task deployment of the "14th Five-Year Plan for Intelligent Manufacturing Development Plan", the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the State Data Bureau jointly carried out the 2024 smart factory gradient cultivation action to support enterprises to build basic, advanced, excellent, and pilot-level smart factories at a hierarchical level. After recommendations, expert reviews, online announcements and other procedures of relevant provincial departments and central enterprises, the list of outstanding smart factories in 2024 was officially issued recently.
Smart factories are the main carrier of intelligent manufacturing and the main battlefield for digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of manufacturing. Up to now, more than 30,000 basic-level smart factories, more than 1,200 advanced-level smart factories, and more than 230 outstanding smart factories have been built nationwide. According to statistics, these outstanding smart factories are distributed in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country, covering more than 80% of the major manufacturing industries. A total of nearly 2,000 excellent scenarios such as intelligent warehousing, online intelligent testing, digital product research and development design, intelligent production scheduling, quality traceability and analysis improvement have been built. The factory product R&D cycle has been shortened by an average of 28.4%, the production efficiency has increased by an average of 22.3%, the yield rate has decreased by an average of 50.2%, and the carbon emission has decreased by an average of 20.4%. The results of improving quality, efficiency and carbon reduction have been significantly improved, representing the leading level of digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of my country's manufacturing enterprises.
In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will work with relevant departments to continue to promote the cultivation and promotion of excellent intelligent factories, launch the cultivation of leading intelligent factories in a timely manner, guide enterprises to actively explore future manufacturing models, and promote intelligent manufacturing to expand to a larger scope, penetrate deeper, and evolve at a higher level.
