According to the forecast of the Fujian Provincial Meteorological Observatory, today (February 8), there will be strong winds of 9 to 10 levels along the central and southern coasts of Fujian.
Affected by cold air, at 9:00 on the 8th, the Fujian Provincial Ocean Forecasting Station issued a blue wave warning.
Medium to large waves appeared along the coast of Fujian. As of 10:00 on the 8th, a total of 17 passenger ferry routes and 34 passenger ferries were suspended in Fujian Province. Among them, two "small three-way" passenger routes from Mawei to Mazu, Quanzhou to Kinmen were temporarily suspended, and 37 water construction projects were temporarily suspended.
Fujian Maritime Bureau continues to maintain a Level IV warning response for strong winds, continuously broadcasts strong wind warning information through coastal radio stations, and reminds coastal ships to take precautions. At the same time, we will strengthen cruise inspections of key wharves, waterways and anchorages to maintain safe and smooth maritime traffic order.
Fujian Maritime Bureau reminds that during cold waves and strong winds, small ships have limited ability to resist wind and waves, so do not risk going to sea to operate. The masses must stay away from the beaches and reefs by the sea, beware of being caught in the sea, and ensure personal safety.
