China News Service, Jinhua, February 6 (Qian Chenfei and Xu Xianfei) This Spring Festival, Zhejiang Jinhua International Land Port Hub ushered in an unprecedented busy scene - Zhejiang China-Europe Express, loaded with daily necessities, new energy vehicle parts and other goods, frequently entering and leaving Yiwu West Station and Jinhua South Station.

This is the 11th "Never Closed Spring Festival" of the Zhejiang China-Europe Express. Chen Songdi, manager of the marketing department of Hangzhou Railway Logistics Center under China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd., introduced that since 2025, more than 10,000 "foreign New Year goods" shipped to Yiwu, Jinhua, have come from more than 20 countries and regions in Europe and Asia.

Data shows that in 2024, the train had 25 operating lines, with 2,619 trains running throughout the year, an increase of 10% year-on-year; 213,996 standard boxes were shipped, an increase of 9.9% year-on-year; it radiated to more than 160 cities in more than 50 countries in Eurasia, and reached more than 100 overseas stations. In January 2025 alone, the train had a total of 306 trains and sent 25,536 standard boxes, an increase of 6.6% year-on-year.

On the land, Jinhua Jianqiang China-Europe Express Assemblies Center. Last year alone, the local government planned and promoted 74 major projects in the mainland port with a total investment of 287.19 billion yuan.

At the construction site of the China-Europe Railway Express Assemblies Center project in Jinhua East China International Intermodal Port, this year's Spring Festival is also busy, with hundreds of large-scale equipment working at the same time every day. The total investment of the project is 10.6 billion yuan, which is the core project for the expansion of points and lines of Zhejiang China-Europe Express. After completion, the annual shipping capacity of Zhejiang China-Europe Express will be increased to 10,000 trains.

In December 2024, the "Overall Plan for Deepening Comprehensive Reform of International Trade in Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province" was released, further promoting Jinhua's two-way efforts in "buy globally and sell globally".

According to Jinhua Customs data, in 2024, Jinhua's foreign trade export volume reached 771.92 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.4%, accounting for 19.8% of the whole province of Zhejiang, setting a record high.

"From the perspective of import and export ratio, Jinhua's import data is roughly one-tenth of exports. In the context of deepening the reform of the international trade, it is crucial to find breakthroughs in new fields." A relevant person in charge of the Jinhua Municipal Bureau of Commerce said.

To this end, Jinhua quickly implemented the first pilot program for innovation and development of import trade, with the efficiency of testing and certification of imported products of three categories increased by 75%, and the cost of expenses decreased by 15% to 30%.
