On November 14, a robbery and murder occurred in Boqiao Province, Laos. The victim was a Chinese citizen working there. The case is currently under police investigation.

After learning of the situation, the Chinese Consulate General in Luang Prabang immediately activated the consular protection emergency mechanism and asked the Bojo Provincial Police to increase investigation efforts and bring the murderer to justice as soon as possible.

The Consulate General expresses condolences to the families of the victims and is strengthening coordination with relevant parties to assist in the aftermath.
