On April 30, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Youth Federation held the 2025 China Youth May Fourth Medal and the New Era Youth Pioneer Award Ceremony in Beijing.
This selection finally produced 30 individuals and 30 award-winning collectives, and 677 youth pioneers in the new era. They strive to be the vanguard and new force in various fields and aspects such as scientific and technological innovation, rural revitalization, green development, social services, and defending the country and guarding the border.
Winner of the 2025 China Youth May Fourth Medal and Director of the Photon Laboratory of Changchun Institute of Optical Precision Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences Li Wei: In the future, I will work with my youth team to promote the further development of technologies such as aerospace precision temperature control and remote sensing detection in my country.
2025 China Youth May Fourth Medal Winner and reporter of China Central Radio and Television Station Zou Yun: This honor not only represents me personally, but also represents the vigorous development of China Central Radio and Television Station. In my future work, I will continue to break prejudice through objective and detailed reports, and promote mutual learning among civilizations through sincere and profound dialogues. I will demonstrate the professional quality and professional spirit of Chinese young media people in the international public opinion field, practice the mission of media diplomacy of major powers, and make the Chinese voice of the new era on the international stage.
The first thematic lecture was also held on site. The award-winning representatives will focus on face-to-face exchanges and sharing with the majority of young people in the near future.
