Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 30. The 15th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress closed in the morning of the 30th at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. After voting, the meeting passed the Private Economy Promotion Law and the newly revised Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Law; it decided to remove Jin Zhuanglong from his position as Minister of Industry and Information Technology and appoint Li Le as Minister of Industry and Information Technology. President Xi Jinping signed Presidential Orders No. 46, 47 and 48 respectively. Chairman Zhao Leji presided over the closing meeting.

160 members of the Standing Committee attended the meeting, and the number of attendees met the quorum.

The meeting voted to pass the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on authorizing the State Council to temporarily adjust the application of the relevant provisions of the "Seed Law of the People's Republic of China" in the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The meeting voted to pass the decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on ratifying the Agreement between the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Civil and Commercial Judicial Assistance and Cooperation, and the decision of the Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons.

The meeting voted to pass the report of the National People's Congress Standing Committee on the qualifications of individual representatives.

The meeting also voted to pass other appointment and removal proposals.

Li Hongzhong, Wang Dongming, Xiao Jie, Zheng Jianbang, Ding Zhongli, Hao Mingjin, Cai Dafeng, He Wei, Wu Weihua, Tie Ning, Peng Qinghua, Zhang Qingwei, Luosang Jiangcun, Xueklai Zaker, and Secretary-General Liu Qi attended the meeting.

Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing of the State Council, Zhang Jun, President of the Supreme People's Court, Ying Yong, Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, responsible persons of the National Supervisory Commission, members of various special committees of the National People's Congress, responsible persons of the Standing Committees of the People's Congresses of various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, main responsible persons of the Standing Committees of the People's Congresses of some vice-provincial cities, some National People's Congress deputies, and responsible persons of relevant departments attended the meeting.

After the closing meeting, the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress held a special lecture of the 16th lecture, chaired by Chairman Zhao Leji. Ma Xinmin, Director of the Treaty and Law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Member of the United Nations International Law Commission, gave a lecture entitled "My Treaty Legal System and Work Practice".
