On April 7, a container truck full of electronic products, high-end equipment parts and biomedical products was sent from the Suzhou Industrial Park Comprehensive Bonded Zone and headed to Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Unlike other conventional export goods, the ticket of goods has been completed at the "Shanghai Airport-Suzhou Front Cargo Station" in the comprehensive bonded area of Suzhou Industrial Park, and will be transported to the airside of Shanghai Pudong International Airport waiting for installation.
This also marks the official opening of the first cross-provincial, municipal and cross-regional pre-cargo station in the country, "Shanghai Airport-Suzhou Pre-cargo Station" Through business model innovation, the "Shanghai Airport-Suzhou Pre-Cargo Station" has realized the pre-installation of Shanghai Airport cargo security inspection, customs inspection, aviation security supervision, freight station production operation links, production service specifications and standards. Suzhou enterprises can enjoy Shanghai's rich international route resources at their "door to their homes". At present, the front cargo station has been linked to about 20 international and domestic airlines to achieve "one civil aviation security inspection, one customs inspection, and direct flights to the airport" in the Soviet Union.
According to the calculations of relevant departments of Nanjing Customs and Suzhou Industrial Park, enterprises save logistics time by 12-24 hours compared with the normal scale through the pre-cargo station, reducing ground logistics costs by about 10% to 30%.
