Since the beginning of this year, the railway department has integrated the demand for bulk freight and created a refrigerated container train that integrates warehouses and distribution, and sent the hot pot ingredients produced in Shandong to the Sichuan-Chongqing region, connecting the supply and demand ends thousands of miles apart.
In order to ensure the safety, stability and efficiency of the railway cold chain, the Jinan Railway Bureau Jinan Railway Logistics Center and multi-party logistics companies have joined hands with Linyi East Railway Logistics Station as the shipping point, and used 50 refrigerated trucks to establish the country's first railway mobile cold storage cold chain logistics micro-base around the station, gathering frozen products from Linyi, Shandong, as well as Qingdao, Weifang, Heze and other surrounding cities here to ensure the stability of the supply of goods under the frequency of "two days one train".
After the refrigerated container train, the transportation time for frozen hot pot ingredients from local food companies in Linyi, Shandong to arrive in Chongqing was compressed from the original 6 to 7 days to 2 to 3 days. In addition, the integrated warehouse and distribution and "one-single" service have reduced additional links, and the manpower loading and unloading cost alone can save nearly 36 yuan per ton. At present, Shandong Province has introduced a series of measures to effectively reduce logistics costs in the whole society. By deepening the integration and innovation of logistics and manufacturing, commerce and other industries, it will comprehensively improve the operating efficiency of the logistics system and effectively reduce costs.
