Statistics from Wuhan Entry and Exit Border Inspection Station show that in the first 17 days of March, 11,600 foreigners entering and leaving the Wuhan Tianhe Airport Port, an increase of 23.83% over the same period in 2024, mainly from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States and Japan. Among them, 4,200 people entered the country without visa, an increase of 158.83% year-on-year.
The purpose of these tourists entering the country is mainly sightseeing, accounting for more than 60%. It is the season when cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the best cherry blossom viewing destinations such as Donghu Cherry Garden and Wuhan University have become the first choice for many foreign tourists.
