CCTV News: According to the website of the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to February, the total retail sales of consumer goods was 837.31 billion yuan, an increase of 4.0% year-on-year. Among them, the retail sales of consumer goods other than automobiles were 768.38 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8%.
By the location of the operating unit, from January to February, the retail sales of urban consumer goods was 7246.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%; the retail sales of rural consumer goods were 1126.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%.
By consumption type, from January to February, the retail sales of goods were 7393.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%; catering revenue was 979.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%.
By retail format, from January to February, the retail sales of convenience stores, professional stores, supermarkets and department stores increased by 9.8%, 5.4%, 4.0% and 0.4% year-on-year respectively; the retail sales of branded stores decreased by 0.8%.
From January to February, the national online retail sales reached 2276.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%. Among them, the online retail sales of physical goods was 1863.3 billion yuan, an increase of 5.0%, accounting for 22.3% of the total retail sales of consumer goods; among the online retail sales of physical goods, food and use goods increased by 10.8% and 5.4% respectively, while wearing goods decreased by 0.6%.
