Today (March 11), the third "Minister Channel" of the Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress was held in the Great Hall of the People, and Minister of Natural Resources Guan Zhiou was interviewed by reporters.
Guan Zhiou said that over the past year, under the unified command of the State Council's "Three Norths" project coordination mechanism, central enterprises and private enterprises in various regions and departments have coordinated and fought fiercely in the sand sea. The area of governance has been completed in more than 76 million mu, and the three landmark battles have made substantial progress.
The "Three Norths" project in the new era focuses more on strengthening international cooperation and exchanges, and pays more attention to contributing Chinese wisdom to global desertification rectification and providing Chinese solutions. At the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Desertification held in Saudi Arabia at the end of last year, the China Pavilion, which fully demonstrated our achievements in sand control and sand control, won wide praise. A number of new products such as mechanical sand pressing and intelligent tree planting have become the "Internet celebrity" of the conference.
During the Two Sessions, the "Three Norths" projects have entered new construction seasons one after another. All desert control armies have set out again, continuing to fight, striving to plant one tree to survive, and cure one piece of land to ensure that the three landmark battles have achieved important results as scheduled.
