Xinhua News Agency issued a report by CCTV News, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued five weather warnings: blizzard, strong convection, cold wave, strong wind and heavy fog on the 2nd. It is expected that from the 2nd to the 3rd, the rain and snow weather process in the central and eastern regions will enter the strongest period; in the next three days, the temperature in the central and eastern regions will drop from north to south by 6℃ to 10℃, and there will be strong winds.
Meteorological experts introduced that this round of cold wave has the characteristics of a wide range of influence, violent cooling and complex precipitation phase, and the impact time is mainly from March 1 to 4. During this period, the temperature in central and eastern my country will drop by 6℃ to 10℃ from north to south, among which the temperature in southern North China and most areas south of North China will drop by 12℃ to 16℃, and the local cooling can even reach more than 18℃.
On the 2nd, Shandong experienced cold waves and large-scale rain and snow. According to the forecast of the Shandong Provincial Meteorological Observatory, as of 14:00 on the 2nd, a total of 10 cities and 49 counties (districts and cities) in the province had snowfall, with an average snowfall of 2.5 mm.
