CCTV News: According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China's automobile export volume has exceeded 6.4 million vehicles in 2024, ranking first in the world.
In Shanghai Port, the roll-on-roll-up throughput of 3.63 million vehicles in 2024, an increase of 15% year-on-year. Throughput jumped first in the world for the first time, of which the throughput of foreign trade vehicles accounted for more than 60%. At present, Shanghai Port has 15 international car roll-on routes, reaching 289 ports in 131 countries and regions.
More than 150 tons arrive at the port, and Shanghai Water Transport Port has welcomed the peak of import of fresh live king crabs. Since this year, the import of fresh live aquatic products at Shanghai Water Transport Port has maintained a high level. On the afternoon of the 25th, the crab boat "Atlantic" successfully berthed at the Hengsha Fishing Port Wharf in Changxing, Shanghai, and more than 150 tons of fresh king crabs were ready to pass.
At 1 pm, the crab boat successfully arrived at the port, and Chongming Customs immediately sent customs officers to board the ship for inspection.
Zhu Zhenghao, the second-level sponsor of Chongming Customs Office, said: "In the inspection, we will focus on the compliance and health of the king crabs, and strictly prevent the introduction of vectors and foreign pests."
As the ship-mounted crane opened the hatch door, baskets of fresh blue king crabs were lifted from the cabin, and the dock was suddenly busy. Weighing, sorting, and transporting, blue king crabs with "tight and claws" were transported to the refrigerated water truck and then quickly transported to Shanghai and surrounding markets. Since the beginning of this year, Chongming Customs has ensured the safe and efficient customs clearance of 308 tons of fresh aquatic products such as king crabs and snow crabs.
