Spokeman Zhu Fenglian said that we have never regarded Taiwanese students studying in mainland universities as outsiders. We have been working hard to provide them with the same treatment as mainland students for many years. Taiwanese students have significantly enhanced their sense of gain, security and happiness. In contrast, the DPP authorities have set unreasonable restrictions and unfair treatment for mainland students to study in Taiwan. May I ask everyone: In the current severe situation in the Taiwan Strait, facing all kinds of cold-eyed and cold words, why should mainland students swallow their anger and go to Taiwan to study? Can their parents rest assured? If the DPP authorities sincerely hope that mainland students will go to Taiwan to study, they should change their wrong practices as soon as possible and effectively protect the rights and interests of mainland students in Taiwan.
