CCTV News: The reporter learned from the General Administration of Customs that private enterprises have maintained the position of China's largest foreign trade business entity for six consecutive years. As the "main force" of foreign trade, last year, private enterprises imported and exported 24.33 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year, and its proportion of China's total foreign trade value increased to 55.5%. In addition, last year, private enterprises also created "three firsts" in China's foreign trade field.
Specifically, the first time was that the number of private enterprises with import and export performance exceeded 600,000 for the first time, reaching 609,000, continuing to inject new strength into the development of foreign trade;
The second first time is that private enterprises have become the largest import and export entity of high-tech products in my country. The import and export of high-tech products increased by 12.6%, accounting for 3 percentage points of the total import and export value of similar products in my country to 48.5%;
The third time is that the proportion of my country's consumer goods imports exceeded 50% for the first time, an increase of 2.8 percentage points year-on-year to 51.3%, of which more than 60% of daily chemical products, fruits and other products.
In 2024, the activity of foreign trade operators in three categories: private, foreign-invested and state-owned enterprises continued to increase, with nearly 700,000 enterprises with import and export performance throughout the year, setting a new high.
