CCTV News: Spring farming preparations are being carried out from south to north, and various agricultural supplies are also stepping up production. At present, in Inner Mongolia, various coal-to-fertilizer production enterprises are also operating at full capacity.

In the workshop of the company in Wushen Banner, Ordos, multiple intelligent production lines are operating 24 hours a day.

Urea is one of the largest fertilizers in chemical fertilizers. Coal is finally converted into white urea particles through the five stages of pulping, gasification, purification, synthesis and granulation.

The production workshop has advanced environmental protection facilities that can achieve comprehensive management of waste gas and maximize resource recycling. As for the cinder generated during the production process, enterprises adopt scientific and effective cyclic treatment methods. According to the relevant person in charge, through deep dehydration and drying technology, the calorific value of cinder can reach 2,000 calories. After mixing with fuel coal, it can save more than 300 tons of steam coal consumption every day, while reducing the accumulation pollution to the environment.

Inner Mongolia has 9 fertilizer supply guarantee enterprises. In the first two months of this year, 1 million tons of fertilizer have been produced and transported by railways and roads to Shanxi, Hebei, Shaanxi, and Northeast China, making every effort to ensure sufficient supply of agricultural supplies.

Railway increases transportation capacity and ensures the transportation of spring farming materials

Spring farming materials are speeding up production, and the transportation of materials has also entered its peak period. Inner Mongolia Railway has ensured efficient and smooth transportation through various measures such as increasing transportation capacity and tailoring transportation plans.

There are 5 fertilizer production enterprises in Ordos. The local Tuk Station is the largest railway fertilizer distribution and transportation station in Inner Mongolia. Every year, more than 1.7 million tons of fertilizer are transported from here to more than 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country. These days, the station staff and machinery have been busy.

In Hulunbuir City, the railway freight yard of Arong Banner Station is also busy. The agricultural supplies train loaded with fertilizers from Ordos arrived smoothly, and bags of fertilizers were efficiently transported to large trucks through automatic conveyors.

In order to ensure sufficient transportation capacity, the Hohhot Bureau of the National Railways mobilized trains carrying fertilizers from the global scope, giving priority to ensuring the transportation of spring farming materials. Since February, 48 spring farming materials trains have been launched, and more than 185,000 tons of fertilizers have been shipped, an increase of 44.3% year-on-year. The transportation work will continue until the end of March.
