CCTV News: Data from the 2025 comprehensive transportation Spring Festival travel special team shows that on February 18, 2025 (the 36th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the 21st of the first lunar month), the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society is 175.58 million, of which 10.4 million railway passenger volume, 162.55 million highway personnel flow (131.16 million non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways, 31.39 million highway commercial passenger volume), 580,000 water passenger volume, and 2.05 million civil aviation passenger volume.
On February 17, 2025 (the 35th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the 20th day of the first lunar month), the cross-regional flow of people in the whole society was 186.664 million, a decrease of 8.5% month-on-month and an increase of 14.4% over the same period in 2024.
The railway passenger volume was 13.025 million, a month-on-month decrease of 14.5%, an increase of 30% over the same period in 2024.
The flow of highway personnel (including the travel of non-commercial passenger buses on highways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic) was 170.86 million, a decrease of 8% month-on-month and an increase of 13.4% over the same period in 2024. Among them, the number of business passengers on highways was 32.07 million, a month-on-month decrease of 6.7%, an increase of 1.6% over the same period in 2024; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 138.79 million, a month-on-month decrease of 8.3%, an increase of 16.6% over the same period in 2024.
The water passenger volume was 635,000, a month-on-month decrease of 10.5%, an increase of 27.1% over the same period in 2024.
The civil aviation passenger volume was 2.1444 million, a month-on-month decrease of 5.02%, an increase of 7.77% over the same period in 2024.
