CCTV News (News Broadcast): Since the beginning of this year, my country's shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry has developed strongly, high-end equipment has been delivered one after another, and the formation of world-class shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry clusters is accelerating.
In the past few days, there have been frequent good news about China's shipbuilding industry. A 319,000-ton ammonia reserved ultra-large crude oil tanker was delivered to users, which will enable near-zero-carbon operation for the entire voyage in the future; the country's largest 180,000 cubic meter LNG carrier was successfully completed; the world's largest piling ship "Railway Construction Bridge Pile No. 1" was completed and delivered, providing equipment support for large-scale cross-sea bridges and deep-sea projects.

Revolving around building the world's leading ship and offshore products, my country's world-class ship and offshore industry cluster is accelerating the construction. The Yangtze River Delta strives to build a high-end global high-end ship and marine equipment; the Bohai Rim forms a full industrial chain from green main engine research and development to green ship manufacturing; the Pearl River Delta focuses on the development of offshore equipment and promotes the coordinated layout of offshore oil and gas development, offshore wind power supporting and other industries.
The development of world-class shipbuilding and offshore engineering industry clusters has brought about improvements in shipbuilding efficiency, the proportion of high-end ship types has continued to expand, and it has also attracted more and more global partners.

The "15th Five-Year Plan" outline clearly points out that the high-end ship and marine engineering equipment base will be strengthened and optimized.
This year, our country will promote the research and development, design, and manufacturing of large cruise ships and large liquefied natural gas carriers, and consolidate and enhance its advantages in the marine equipment manufacturing industry.
This year, my country’s shipbuilding completion volume is expected to exceed 60 million deadweight tons, continuing to maintain its leading position in the world.
