CCTV News: This year is the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan and an important year for further comprehensive deepening of reforms.

The reporter learned from the National Development and Reform Commission that as of now, the proportion of the 102 major projects in my country's "14th Five-Year Plan" involving more than 5,000 specific projects involving energy, transportation, new infrastructure and other fields, the proportion of the planning task goals has reached 99%.

At Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, Terminal T3B, a major project during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, it is also the single satellite hall with the largest construction area in the world. The entire airport can meet the annual passenger throughput of 80 million, aircraft takeoffs and landings of 580,000 aircraft, and cargo and mail throughput of 1.2 million tons.

The first pumping and storage project in South China during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Nanning Pumping and Storage Power Station, is also accelerating its construction.

In Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, the Sichuan 11 section of the upper reaches of the Jinsha River to Hubei ±800 kV ultra-high voltage DC transmission project is undergoing line acceptance operations. After completion, about 40 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity can be sent to central China.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, clean energy bases such as the upstream and downstream of the Jinsha River, Xinjiang, northern Hebei, and Songliao have accelerated the construction, and offshore wind power bases such as Guangdong, Fujian, and Zhejiang have also been put into operation. The construction speed of wind power photovoltaic projects exceeded the expected target.

Since 2019, my country has started to renovate nearly 280,000 old urban communities, benefiting 120 million residents, and the "shortcomings" of people's livelihood have accelerated. Looking to the "15th Five-Year Plan", we must use the "traction" of major projects to drive economic growth, use the certainty of investment to deal with external uncertainties, and cultivate future "hard core" strength.
