CCTV News: On January 19, my country achieved the first "three tests per day" of the liquid oxygen kerosene rocket engine in Baolongyu Experimental Zone, 165, the Sixth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, marking that my country's new generation of launch vehicle main power engine has improved its test verification capabilities to adapt to mass production and delivery, which will strongly support the high-density launch of the Long March series rocket in the future.
At 9:43, 10:47 and 12:06 on January 19, two 120-ton liquid oxygen kerosene rocket engines and one 18-ton liquid oxygen kerosene rocket engine were respectively ignition tests, and the test was a complete success. It is the first time in China to achieve the "three tests per day" of the two types of liquid oxygen kerosene rocket engines.
Engine test drive is an important link in the development process of rocket engines. There are dozens of types, which will run through all stages before and after the development of the engine. The test runs conducted today are process acceptance test runs before the engine is delivered to the rocket assembly.
It is understood that the pilot zone that completed the "three tests per day" has been completed for 20 years. In recent years, the pilot zone has adopted a series of digital empowerment and technological innovation measures to shorten the preparation time for the process acceptance and test drive of the liquid oxygen kerosene rocket engine from 5 days to 2 days, and the work efficiency has been doubled, effectively ensuring the scheduled delivery of my country's new generation of launch vehicle main-powered engines.
