On March 24, the Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group International Fugitives and Recovery and Cross-border Corruption Governance Office held a meeting to study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, study and deploy the 2025 anti-corruption international fugitives and Recovery and Cross-border Corruption Governance Work, and launch the "Skynet 2025" action.
The meeting pointed out that in 2024, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, and under the direct command of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group, all member units of the office and all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, built a mechanism for pursuing fugitives and preventing fugitives and recovering stolen assets, and continued to increase the efforts to govern cross-border corruption, and achieved significant results in all work.
The meeting decided to launch the "Skynet 2025" action. Among them, the State Supervisory Commission took the lead in carrying out a special operation to recover stolen money overseas for duty crimes, the Ministry of Public Security carried out a special operation to "hunter foxes", the People's Bank of China, in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Security, carried out a special operation to prevent and crack down on the transfer of stolen money from offshore companies and underground banks to overseas, and the Central Organization Department, in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Security and the State Immigration Administration, carried out a good job in the management of "naked officials" jobs and the management of violations of public officials' travel abroad due to private overseas travel.
