CCTV News: Not only airports, but also press the fast forward button for the construction of major transportation projects such as railways, canals, and highways in various places. It is understood that in the list of major engineering projects for a strong transportation country in 2025, 20 major projects (packages) and 45 major projects are being accelerated. At the beginning of the New Year, the sound of firecrackers resuming work and production rang out early at the construction site of the Chongqing Jianglong Expressway. The Jianglong Expressway from Jiangkou to Longgang is 70 kilometers long, with a total of 37 bridges and 17 tunnels, with a bridge-tunnel ratio of up to 76.5%. In order to successfully open traffic in the second half of this year, all the staff of the project construction have returned to work after the Spring Festival.
It is not only the construction personnel, but also the local residents who hope that the Jianglong Expressway will be opened to traffic as soon as possible. A short 2 kilometers of straight-line distance is now a 40-minute mountain-crossing ride, which brings inconvenience to the lives of local residents on both sides of the Yangtze River.
Not only the Jianglong Expressway, a series of key projects are being promoted at full speed after the Spring Festival. The Sichuan-Tibet Railway, the Yangtze River Bridge in Zhangjinggao, the Pinglu Canal of the Western Land-Sea Passage, and the Xiaoyangshan North Container Terminal have been fully started.
Yang Xiaoliang, deputy director of the Investment Planning Department of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Transport, said that the list of major projects to accelerate the construction of a strong transportation country in 2025 includes a total of 20 major projects (packages) and 45 major projects. Since the beginning of the year, the construction of major transportation projects across the country has been in full swing, and fixed-asset investment in transportation is expected to achieve a "good start".
