The reporter learned from the Qingdao Airport Entry and Exit Border Inspection Station that during the Spring Festival holiday, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at Qingdao Airport Port is expected to reach 66,000, an increase of 4% year-on-year. The peak of travel before the festival is concentrated from January 25 to 27.

Bian Feng, director of the Border Inspection Department of Qingdao Airport Entry and Exit Border Inspection Station, said: "Recently, there are many young people who have entered the country from Qingdao Airport Port. They basically come to China for a group. The tourist attractions are mainly May Fourth Square and Taitung Pedestrian Street. Some of them are based on families, taking their children back to their hometown for the New Year, and stroll and take a look near their location."

Since the implementation of the visa-free policy, the number of foreign tourists in some museums, shopping malls and entertainment venues in Qingdao, especially Korean tourists has increased significantly.

South Korean tourist Park Hanse said: "When I was preparing to travel to China, it was very troublesome to apply for a visa, but now I don't have such concerns. It is very convenient to come to China and the flight time is very short. Also, when taking a taxi with a mobile phone, taxis come very fast and cheap, so I feel it is very convenient."

Tour guide Kim Chun-zi said: "There is no visa now, so there are quite a lot of tourists, mainly young Korean tourists. I can't rest during the Spring Festival holiday, and it's all full. There are too many tourists. I bring about 8 tour groups a month."

In view of the recent increase in the number of Korean tourists, some tourist attractions in Qingdao have added Korean language tour guides and Korean shopping guides, and some signs have also added Korean language annotations.

Hainan: Inbound and outbound passengers during the Spring Festival holiday are expected to increase by 50% year-on-year

As the visa-free policy continues to be upgraded and expanded, since this year's Spring Festival travel rush, the number of inbound and outbound passengers in Hainan Province has increased significantly, among which the number of cross-border tourism and the flow of tourists from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots, and overseas Chinese returning home for the holidays has increased significantly.

This is a flight from Singapore, most of the foreign tourists traveling to China, and all have fast entry and clearance.

At present, Hainan Meilan, Phoenix and Boao have opened a total of 70 overseas passenger routes, covering Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Europe and other regions. During this year's Spring Festival holiday, it is expected that Hainan's inbound and outbound passengers will reach 62,000, an increase of 50% over the same period last year.
