CCTV news: According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, this year China's manned space project will deepen the application and development of space stations and manned lunar exploration.
At present, the Chinese space station is operating stably in orbit and is performing well; the development and construction of the lunar landing phase of the manned lunar exploration project are progressing smoothly, and a number of phased breakthroughs have been achieved.

In 2026, it is planned to carry out two manned missions and one cargo spacecraft supply mission. Astronauts from Hong Kong and Macao are expected to carry out space station missions as early as this year. One astronaut from the Shenzhou 23 flight crew will carry out a one-year residency test.

Aiming at the goal of realizing the first Chinese landing on the moon before 2030, the development and construction work of the lunar landing phase of the manned lunar exploration project is progressing steadily. Up to now, the development of major flight products such as the Long March 10 carrier rocket, Mengzhou manned spacecraft, and the Moon Lander has been progressing smoothly. Large-scale tests such as the zero-altitude escape of the Mengzhou manned spacecraft, the landing and takeoff of the Moon Lander, the tethered ignition of the Long March 10 carrier rocket, the low-altitude demonstration of the Long March 10 carrier rocket system, and the maximum dynamic pressure escape flight of the Mengzhou manned spacecraft system have been completed. In 2026, all efforts will be made to promote the construction of supporting facilities and equipment related to the lunar landing mission at the Wenchang Space Launch Site, as well as the construction of various ground support system projects such as measurement and control communications and landing sites.
