They arrived in Hong Kong on the 3rd and were delivered for use.
After the fire, the central government attached great importance to the rescue progress, and national forces quickly gathered in Xiangjiang. The Central Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office quickly followed up on the fire rescue situation, organized a working group to arrive in Hong Kong on November 27, and coordinated the deployment of rescue equipment and medical supplies from Guangdong Province, which arrived in Hong Kong on the evening of the 27th and the morning of the 28th.
Chief Superintendent Tsang Shu-yin, head of the Casualty Investigation Center of the Hong Kong Police Force, said that among the supplies that have been continuously supported, emergency lighting equipment has provided support for the search and rescue work of the Police Disaster Victim Identification Team.
According to reports, the fire scene environment was complex, and the supporting emergency lighting system effectively improved the light conditions, ensured the safety of search and rescue personnel, improved the efficiency of night search and rescue, and created conditions for the smooth development of the work.
Lighting drones, dual-light reconnaissance drones, exoskeleton mechanical equipment, fire-fighting and rescue boots... The National Fire and Rescue Bureau guided the Guangdong Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps to connect with the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Guangdong Provincial Committee and the Hong Kong Fire Services Department. The above items were handed over to the Hong Kong Fire Services Department at the Liantang Port in Luohu District, Shenzhen.
“These equipments effectively help the Fire Services Department strengthen fire scene investigation and emergency dispatch work.” Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Mr Chan Kwok-kee, expressed his gratitude to the Guangdong Fire Rescue Corps and the Shenzhen Fire Brigade.
Following the delivery of the first batch of emergency equipment and materials, the Ministry of Emergency Management coordinated with the National Fire and Rescue Bureau and relevant public welfare foundations to provide the Hong Kong SAR government with the second batch of equipment and materials, including portable outdoor charging stations, blowers, respirators, goggles, protective clothing, headlamps, waterproof boots, etc., which were quickly delivered to on-site search and rescue personnel for use.
