China Coast Guard Spokesperson Liu Dejun said that on December 2, the Japanese fishing boat "Ruibao Maru" illegally entered China's territorial waters of the Diaoyu Islands. The Chinese Coast Guard ships took necessary control measures in accordance with the law and warned to drive away. The Diaoyu Islands and their affiliated islands are China’s inherent territory. We urge Japan to immediately stop all infringing and provocative activities in these waters. The China Coast Guard will continue to carry out rights protection and law enforcement activities in the waters around the Diaoyu Islands to resolutely safeguard national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
