CCTV News: From September 19 to 20, the 2025 China Digital Music Industry Conference was held in Xiamen, Fujian, and the "China Digital Music Industry Report (2024)" was released. The report pointed out that in 2024, the scale of China's digital music industry exceeded 200 billion yuan, and the user scale firmly ranked first in the world.

The report shows that the total scale of China's digital music market, including online music, online karaoke, music short videos, etc. in 2024 was approximately 211.35 billion yuan, an increase of 10.8% compared with 2023. The cumulative total of the digital music platform music library is about 263 million songs. In 2024, digital music has broken through the limitations of a single content form and is fully embedded in the digital content ecosystem such as games, film and television, and animation.
