CCTV News: According to @Haikou Fire, at 11:57 on March 18, an outdoor gas pipeline leak occurred at the intersection of Zhongsha Road and Nanhai Avenue in Chengxi Town, Longhua District, Haikou City. After receiving the alarm, the Haikou Fire Rescue Detachment quickly arrived at the scene to deal with the situation, and collaborated with emergency, traffic police, gas and other departments to deal with the situation. The worker dug out the outdoor gas pipeline during construction and caused a gas leakage and ignited an excavator. No one was trapped or injured. After the fire rescue personnel arrived at the scene, they quickly set up mobile water cannons for dilution and cooling. Then, the gas company technicians closed the valve. At 12:40, the open fire was put out, no people were trapped or injured, and no secondary disasters were caused.
