CCTV News: The Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the United Arab Emirates issued a document on March 15, reminding Chinese citizens in the UAE to strictly abide by local laws and relevant government requirements.
In the context of the current regional situation, relevant departments of the UAE government have repeatedly warned local people not to take, publish or disseminate pictures and videos that record the sites of missile and drone attacks or the damage caused, and not to publish and disseminate misleading, false and other information. Relevant actions may cause public panic or damage the country's national defense measures. Violators will bear criminal liability. Recently, dozens of foreigners have been arrested and handed over for trial by Albanian law enforcement agencies for violating the above requirements.
The Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the United Arab Emirates reminds Chinese citizens in the UAE to strictly abide by local laws and relevant government requirements, and do not take videos or photos of missile and drone attack sites or sensitive areas such as airports, ports, and military facilities, and do not publish or disseminate information on social media that is misleading, may cause panic, or is false.
