According to the "Marine Disaster Emergency Plan", the Ministry of Natural Resources launched a third-level emergency response to marine disasters at 8:00 on October 4, and adjusted the emergency response to marine disasters in Guangdong and Hainan to level 2 at 17:00. Affected by the typhoon and storm surge, it is expected that the risk of seawater backflow in coastal low-lying areas in Maoming City, Guangdong Province and Wenchang City, Hainan Province is high on the morning of the 5th; around noon on the 5th, the risk of seawater backflow in coastal low-lying areas in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province and Haikou City, Hainan Province is high, and local governments are reminded to take effective measures in advance to prevent and respond to marine disaster risks.
