A report released by the China Federation of Logistics and Procurement on June 27 showed that in 2024, my country's total social logistics volume exceeded 360 trillion yuan for the first time, and my country's logistics market size ranked first in the world for nine consecutive years. From January to April this year, the total social logistics volume in the country was 115.3 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.6% year-on-year. The "logistics chain" operates efficiently, allowing China's good goods to "go to all directions".

In China, up to 8437 express parcels are collected per second. During e-commerce promotions, more than 630 million express orders may be released in one day.

In June, lychees from Lingnan and bayberry from Jiangsu and Zhejiang come from the fields to the tip of the tongue. The drone shuttles at a low altitude and brings fresh fruit out of the mountain in five minutes; the unmanned vehicles connect the road, and several tons of bayberry can be delivered in one day; the cold chain transfer of tens of thousands of square meters can be processed 288,000 packages a day.

How to achieve such "Chinese speed"? From 2012 to 2024, my country's railways and highways increased by more than 1.31 million kilometers, which is equivalent to circling the Earth's equator for more than 32 times. The "air network" of international cargo routes is getting denser and denser, and China occupies eight seats among the top ten ports in the world throughput. What connects these arteries and hubs is a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network of more than 6 million kilometers.

Now, long-distance transportation of bulk goods and containers is accelerating the transfer from road to railway and water transportation; since the launch of the China-Europe freight train, its routes have been widely accessible to 229 cities in 26 European countries, and more than 100 cities in 11 Asian countries.

From 2012 to 2024, the total social logistics volume in my country has increased significantly. At the same time, the logistics expenses spent on every 100 yuan of GDP were reduced from 18 yuan to 14.1 yuan.

From the traffic of the wilderness to the thoroughfare of the avenue, the "logistics chain" crosses mountains and seas, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
