On the afternoon of the 19th, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited the ancient city of Lijiang City, Yunnan Province to learn about the local situation of strengthening the protection and utilization of historical and cultural heritage and forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.

The ancient city of Lijiang was built in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty, and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has a long history of more than 800 years. It is the only ancient city in the country without a wall. In December 1997, the ancient city of Lijiang was listed on the World Cultural Heritage List, including the Dayan Ancient City, Baisha House Building Complex, Shuhe House Building Complex, etc. The buildings integrate the essence of the ethnic groups such as Han, Bai, Yi, Tibetan, and Naxi.

Here, more and more old courtyards are "lively", including Fang Guoyu's former residence, Tiandiyuan, Hengyu Citizens' Residence Museum, Naxi Hieroglyphic Painting Experience Hall... Lijiang Ancient City has created 30 cultural courtyards to create a new field for cultural heritage and provide tourists with a new perspective for in-depth understanding of Lijiang.
