Recently, the State Immigration Administration made special arrangements for the border inspection of ports during the Spring Festival holiday, requiring border inspection agencies across the country to strengthen monitoring of entry and exit flows and port operation, timely release information on entry and exit passenger flows at the port, and provide reference for the itinerary arrangements of entry and exit personnel; strengthen prompt guidance, scientifically organize service, prepare full duty police force, open full inspection channels, and ensure that Chinese citizens’ entry and exit customs clearance queues do not exceed 30 minutes; closely coordinate with port joint inspection units and local relevant departments, and steadily carry out passenger flow guidance and comprehensive transportation supporting guarantees during peak hours, and jointly ensure safe, efficient and smooth customs clearance at ports.
The State Immigration Administration reminds the majority of Chinese and foreign inbound passengers to pay attention to changes in port passenger flow and customs clearance before traveling, and carefully check whether the entry and exit documents and visa notes are valid. If you encounter difficulties during customs clearance, you can call the 12367 service hotline of the national immigration management agency or seek help from the immigration management police on duty on site at any time.
