They agreed to strengthen sea-related communication and dialogue, properly manage maritime situations, steadily deepen practical cooperation in various fields, and work with other ASEAN countries to fully and effectively implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea, accelerate consultations on the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea, strive to reach an early "Code of Conduct", and jointly maintain peace and stability in the South China Sea.
