Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and China. 55 years ago, the older generation of leaders of the two countries had a far-sighted vision, broke through the haze of the Cold War, and set a precedent for the establishment of diplomatic relations between New China and South American countries. For more than half a century, no matter how the international situation changes, the ship of China-Zhiji relations has always sailed through the wind and waves and led the development trend of China's relations with Latin American countries. China and Chile should continuously enrich the contemporary connotation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, create a model for common development between China and Latin America and South-South cooperation, and jointly promote the cause of peace and progress of mankind.

Xi Jinping stressed that China is willing to strengthen political mutual trust with Zhi, adhere to mutual respect, equal treatment, mutual benefit and win-win results, strengthen exchanges of experience in governing the country, firmly support each other on issues involving each other's core interests and major concerns, and safeguard their respective sovereignty, security and development interests. The two sides should implement the cooperation plan for jointly building the "Belt and Road", deepen cooperation in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, industrial investment, infrastructure, green minerals and other fields, and cultivate new growth points such as astronomy, polar regions, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and digital economy. China supports more Chinese companies to invest and do business in Chile, and welcomes more Chilean high-quality products to enter the Chinese market. The two sides should strengthen mutual learning between civilizations, carry out exchanges such as education, culture, media, and youth, facilitate personnel exchanges, and lay a good social and public opinion foundation for the long-term development of bilateral relations. At present, the international situation is in chaos, and unilateralism and protectionism are surging against the current, causing serious impact on the international economic and trade order. As a staunch defender of multilateralism and free trade, China and Zhili must strengthen multilateral cooperation and defend the common interests of the global and southern countries.

Boric said that Chile attaches great importance to relations with China. China has become Chile's most important trading partner, and the cooperation between the two sides has benefited the people of both countries.
