CCTV News: The China Federation of Logistics and Procurement announced the China Highway Logistics Freight Index for April on May 8. As market demand stabilizes and improves, the highway logistics freight index stops falling and rebounds month-on-month, and continues to maintain a slight year-on-year growth.
In April, China's highway logistics freight index was 105 points, a month-on-month rebound of 0.23% and a year-on-year rebound of 2.09%. Judging from the model index, the index of each model has risen and fallen month-on-month, with a slight increase year-on-year. Among them, the vehicle index, mainly commodities and regional transportation, was 105.5 points, up 0.29% from the previous month and 2.45% from the same period last year.
By region, freight indexes in the Northeast, North China, Southwest, Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and other regions have all rebounded.
With the stable release of demand, the expansion of enterprises' operations is basically stable, the supply of transportation capacity is still relatively sufficient, and the supply and demand ends are maintained at a good balance. Driven by the short-term factors of the May Day holiday, transportation demand showed a slight growth trend, and the freight index rebounded slightly from a higher level on a month-on-month basis, reflecting that the road transportation market continued its relatively active momentum in the previous period.
From the later trend, my country has the advantages of a super-large-scale market, and market demand is still expected to maintain stable expansion, and enterprises are optimistic about the future market.
