The press conference on Shenzhou 20 manned flight mission was held today (April 23) at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
The spokesperson introduced that this mission is the fifth manned flight mission in the application and development stage of the space station, and it is also the 35th manned space project flight mission. The main purpose of the mission is to complete in-orbit rotation with the Shenzhou 19 crew, stay in the space station for about 6 months, carry out space science and application practice (test) experiments, implement astronauts' out-of-cabin activities and cargo entry and exit, and carry out space debris protection devices installation, out-of-cabin loads and out-of-cabin equipment installation and recovery.
