During the installation process, workers do not have a three-dimensional spatial awareness, so they can identify which thing is in front and which thing is in the back. With this real-life model, they can save 10% to 15% of the rework hours.

In addition to the AR model, another "black technology" is also being tested in Waitaoqiao Shipbuilding Design Institute. This test does not require human operation, the computer can run it by itself.

Qi Lin, assistant director of China Ship Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Design Institute, introduced that RPA process robots automatically generate lightweight models for AR technology. This work originally required 1,000 man hours, but with the robot, 20% of the work can be completed by robots.
