CCTV News: According to the official account of "China Farmers Sports", recently, the China Farmers Sports Association and the Group Department of the All-China Sports Federation jointly issued a notice, which will be held from April to October, the 2025 Dadi Liucai·National Hemei Rural Basketball Competition (Village BA). The event will be officially launched on April 13 in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and the finals will be held in October.
In terms of activity arrangement, the competition is mainly carried out in three stages. The first stage is from April to June. All provinces are encouraged to carry out basketball exchange activities independently in combination with slack farming, agricultural season and folk festivals. The second phase will be held from July to September. The northern competition area (the venue is Chenjia Village, Jinling Town, Zhaoyuan City, Yantai, Shandong Province), the central competition area (the venue is Xiaomo Village, Gaoleshan Town, Xianfeng County, Hubei Province), and the southern competition area (the venue is Aiguo Village, Xiaoping Town, Chenxi County, Hunan Province) will combine their respective regional cultural characteristics to fully demonstrate the village BA cultural arena with different themes. The third stage of the national finals will be held in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province in October. In terms of team formation methods, teams will be formed with county-level administrative regions as units, giving full play to the demonstration and leading role of the national "Village BA" competition, further expanding the scope of participation, and ensuring that more rural grassroots teams will appear on the national stage and more peasant brothers will "come ahead".
This competition is guided by the Rural Social Promotion Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Mass Sports Department of the General Administration of Sports, sponsored by the China Farmers' Sports Association (Central Agricultural Radio and Television School) and the Group Department of the All-China Sports Association, and provided technical support by the Chinese Basketball Association.
