CCTV News: Recently, the construction of key railway projects in many subways has been carried out in an orderly and efficient manner, and new progress has been made.
On March 20, the entire line of the Chongping section of the Nanping High-speed Railway, which directly leads to the China-Vietnam border city, was completed and is expected to be open to traffic this year. The Chongping section of the Nanping High-speed Railway is 81.52 kilometers long and has a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The line starts from Chongzuo South Station in the east, passes through Tianxi Town and Longzhou County in Ningming County, and finally reaches Pingxiang East Station in Pingxiang City. After the Chongping section of the Nanping High-speed Railway is opened and operated, the direct high-speed rail from Nanning to Pingxiang can be achieved, and the high-speed trains can directly reach the Sino-Vietnam border cities. The train operation time between the two places will be reduced from more than 4 hours to more than 1 hour, further improving the border transportation infrastructure.
On the same day, at the construction site of the main bridge of the Shadao Gate of the Shenzhen-Jiangjiang Railway 11th Standard Project, the first section of the steel truss weighing 80 tons was accurately placed and erected, marking that the main bridge of the project officially entered the steel structure installation stage, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the bridge deck system and the realization of the opening goal.
It is understood that the Shenzhen-River Railway starts from Shenzhen Xili Station, crosses the estuary of the Pearl River, connects five central cities in the Greater Bay Area such as Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen. The total length of the main line is 116 kilometers. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, the coastal passage will be further opened, and Jiangmen can reach access within 1 hour from Shenzhen.
