On the afternoon of the 19th, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited the Lijiang Modern Flower Industrial Park in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province to understand the local development of characteristic agriculture according to local conditions.
Lijiang Modern Flower Industrial Park is located in the ancient city of Lijiang City, with an altitude of about 2,300 meters and an area of about 1,100 mu.
The park planted 48 kinds of freshly cut rose flowers with an annual output of 39.56 million branches; planted 18 kinds of colored calla lily, with an annual output of 900,000 branches, accounting for 90% of the national market. It is the largest greenhouse colored calla lily planting base in the country.
The park has built an intelligent greenhouse, all of which are soilless cultivation technology. The park integrates flower planting, cold chain logistics, leisure tourism, three-dimensional sales, etc., and expands the processing lines of rose essential oil, spices and aromatherapy, and flower food.
The products are sold to first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, as well as countries such as Japan, Vietnam, and Russia, driving employment of more than 300 people in the surrounding rural areas.
