Sometimes due to untimely inspection, the growth of corn in some plots is affected, causing losses." said Han Fengxiang, chairman of the cooperative.

Since the use of smart agricultural equipment, members can see the growth of corn in various plots when sitting in the office. "When there is a problem with a plot, the system will automatically call an alarm and provide guidance plans. It is very smart. Now it is needed for spring plowing and autumn harvest." Han Fengxiang said.

The application of smart agricultural equipment has greatly reduced the operating risks and costs of farmers. Wang Jun, a member of the cooperative, did some calculations, from formula fertilization to timely handling farmland disasters, one hectare of land can save costs and increase efficiency by more than 1,000 yuan.

The western part of Jilin is one of the three major distribution areas of soda saline-alkali land in the world. In Sanye Village, Haituo Township, Da'an City, the white saline-alkali land once became a "stumbling block" for local agricultural production. In recent years, a number of agricultural enterprises and scientific research institutes have come here to carry out saline-alkali land transformation, turning saline-alkali land into rice fields.

A smart farm in Sanye Village operates more than 4,000 acres of rice fields, and we can see meteorological, surveillance and other facilities arranged in the fields on site. When the saline-alkali land is converted into rice fields, the farmland needs to be repeatedly irrigated and drained to achieve the effect of reducing saline-alkali. Now, Xiaotazi Village has achieved the "digitalization" of agricultural production and operation through the smart agricultural platform, through the unified procurement of agricultural supplies by some villagers and standardized statistics of cooperative financial information.

At present, Jilin Province is relying on the construction of "digital villages" to create a number of smart agricultural business entities in various places. By the end of 2025, the number of "digital villages" built in the province will strive to reach more than 35% of the total number of administrative villages.
