During the Spring Festival, museums and art galleries in various places have become popular check-in places. At the Shenzhen Art Museum, the "Special Exhibition on the 70th Anniversary of Li Keran's Sketching" on display attracted many citizens and tourists.
Mr. Li Keran was an important landscape painter and art educator in China in the 20th century, and created a new style of Chinese landscape painting. The exhibition is themed "sketching" and exhibits 73 works by Mr. Li Keran, including Mr. Li Keran's early landscape works, sketches in Beijing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Chongqing and other places, as well as representative landscape painting creations. These works combine traditional Chinese brush and ink, cultural spirit with real life and nature, showing the transformation process of Chinese painting.
Curler Liu Ying: Not only does Li Keran's personal artistic journey, but he also wants to talk about the art of New China through this exhibition. How did such an ancient art of Chinese painting slowly turn to the current state of realism serving New China.
The painting "All Mountains Red" in front of you is a landmark work of the transformation of Chinese landscape painting in the 20th century. In order to highlight the theme of "pervasive", the work boldly used large areas of red cinnabar to render, breaking the color constraints of traditional landscape paintings and opening up new ways of expression for later artists; this "Renshou Gate of the Summer Palace" was created by Mr. Li Keran in 1954. He hoped to solve the survival crisis of Chinese painting at that time through his own practice, and the way of sketching also had a profound impact on the subsequent teaching and creation of Chinese paintings.
It is understood that the exhibition will last until February 16.
