The torch relay event will be officially launched in Harbin on the morning of February 3. The torch relay is 1 day, and the total route of the relay is about 11 kilometers long. A total of 120 torchbearers participated in the torch relay activity.

According to reports, the theme of the torch relay of this Asian Winter Games is "Ice and Snow Dream with Dreams and Asia is the same as one". Through the torch relay, the Olympic spirit is fully demonstrated, and the Chinese story, Longjiang story and Harbin story are told well, adding luster to a sports event that presents an Asian style, Chinese style, Longjiang characteristics and ice city charm.

The 120 torchbearers of this Asian Winter Games are mainly selected for the Asian Olympic Council, the Chinese Olympic Committee, the Asian Winter Committee, and various cities and regions in Heilongjiang Province, as well as sponsored enterprises of the Asian Winter Games. Among the currently determined candidates, the oldest is 83 years old and the youngest is only 16 years old, including 40 female torchbearers.

In the preparation of the torch relay route, the Harbin Asian Winter Conference Organizing Committee has determined a route with a total length of about 11 kilometers and a century-old history. The starting point of this torch relay is set in Daowai District, Harbin City, the famous historical and cultural district of China Baroque. This is the place where Harbin city opened its port and witnessed the century-old development history of the city of Harbin. The fire collection ceremony was selected at the famous tourist check-in site in Daoli District, Harbin City and the Internet celebrity Big Snowman Square located in Songhua River Bund Wetland Park.
