The Shenzhen Entry and Exit Border Inspection General Station issued a notice on January 22 that in order to further facilitate personnel entry and exit of Shatoujiao Border Special Management Zone, with the approval of the State Immigration Administration, it was decided to open an online processing channel for a valid "Shatoujiao Border Special Management Zone Pass".
Since last year, due to the extended pass time and the improvement of internal quality, the number of tourists from Sino-English Street has continued to rise and repeatedly broken records. In order to better ensure that tourists "come and go quickly", the main station further upgrades the certificate application system, optimizes the application process, and promotes the full process of pass processing online: From January 26, 2025, mainland residents can apply for a valid "Shatoujiao Border Special Management Zone Pass" through the WeChat mini program "Shatoujiao Border Special Management Zone Pass" (directly search or enter through the "Shenzhen Border Inspection" WeChat official account, "iShenzhen" App, and "iYantian" WeChat official account link). Mainland residents who have obtained passes online can enter and exit the Shatoujiao Border Special Management Zone with their valid resident ID card after being checked by the border inspection agency, without applying for paper certificates offline.
According to the Shatoujiao Border Inspection Station, Shenzhen Border Inspection Station, in order to further facilitate family travel and group tours, a valid "Shatoujiao Border Special Management Zone Pass" can be applied online: Each WeChat mini program user submits up to 10 applications a day, and each application will be applied for a maximum of 5 people at the same time. In addition to online processing, mainland residents can also go to the Shatoujiao Border Special Management District Certificate Application Center to process paper certificates on site. Persons over 60 years old (inclusive) can use the smart application terminal of the certificate application center to apply for a paper pass quickly.
