Recently, the first batch of voluntary emission reduction trading market for greenhouse gas voluntary emission reduction (CCER), with a total of 9.48 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalents completed registration. This is an important substantial progress made in the construction of my country's voluntary carbon market, and is of great significance to promoting and encouraging a wider range of industry and enterprises in my country to participate in green and low-carbon development. According to the latest statistics, as of March 25, the cumulative trading volume of CCER reached 1.33 million tons, with a turnover of 105 million yuan.
Voluntary carbon market is an important policy tool for my country to use market mechanisms to control and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. For greenhouse gas voluntary emission reduction projects that meet the conditions, after being approved and verified by third-party agencies and reviewed by registration agencies, emission reductions can be registered as certified voluntary emission reduction, and transactions can be conducted through a national unified greenhouse gas voluntary emission reduction trading platform to obtain emission reduction benefits.
