Q: On February 4, 2025, China included the US PVH Group and Inmena on the "unreliable entity list". What are your considerations?
A: After investigation, it was found that the US PVH Group and Inmena Company violated normal market trading principles, interrupted normal transactions with Chinese companies, took discriminatory measures against Chinese companies, and seriously damaged the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies. In order to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, in accordance with the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China, the National Security Law of the People's Republic of China, the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China and other relevant laws, and in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Provisions on the List of Unreliable Entities", the Working Mechanism for the List of Unreliable Entities decided to include the above two entities in the List of Unreliable Entities, and will take corresponding measures against the above entities in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
China has always carefully handled the issue of unreliable entities lists, and only targeted a very small number of foreign entities that endanger our national security in accordance with the law. Foreign entities that are honest and law-abiding have no need to worry at all. As always, the Chinese government welcomes enterprises from all over the world to invest and start businesses in China, and is committed to providing a stable, fair and predictable business environment for law-abiding and compliant foreign-funded enterprises to operate in China.
