CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Commerce website, from January 23, 2025, anti-dumping duties will continue to be imposed on imported o-dichlorobenzene originating in Japan and India, with an implementation period of 5 years.
On January 22, 2019, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 1 of 2019, deciding to impose anti-dumping duties on imported o-dichlorobenzene originating in Japan and India starting from January 23, 2019.
On January 22, 2024, in response to China's o-dichlorobenzene industry application, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 3 of 2024, conducting a final review and investigation on the anti-dumping measures applicable to imported o-dichlorobenzene originating in Japan and India.
The Ministry of Commerce ruled that if the anti-dumping measures are terminated, the dumping of imported o-dichlorobenzene from Japan and India on China may continue or recur, and the damage to China's o-dichlorobenzene industry may continue or recur.
According to Article 50 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations, the Ministry of Commerce proposes to the State Council Tariff Commission to continue to implement anti-dumping measures based on the investigation results. The State Council Tariff Commission, based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Commerce, will continue to impose anti-dumping duties on imported o-dichlorobenzene originating in Japan and India from January 23, 2025, with an implementation period of 5 years.
