With a heavy load of 10,000 tons and a dual-machine reconnection, two locomotives pull more than 100 carriages, "holding hands" and stretching thousands of meters in the Taihang Mountains, which is spectacular.

Ma Liwei, 44 years old this year, is a 10,000-ton heavy-duty driver in the Nan's operating workshop of the Xinxiang Locomotive Section of the Zhengzhou Bureau of the National Railway. He is responsible for the traction task of the 370-kilometer cargo train between the Nan's eldest son of the Waji Railway and Taiqianbei (Ji Mining Logistics).

The Waji Railway starts from Watang Town, Xing County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province in the west and ends at Rizhao Port in Shandong in the east. It is 1,260 kilometers long. It passes through the Shandong Zhongshan District and reaches the coast of the Yellow Sea. It is connected by mountains and steep mountains and seas. It is the first 30-ton shaft heavy-load railway independently designed and built in my country, and it is also an important coal transportation channel connecting the eastern and western parts of my country.

As the Spring Festival travel rush begins, coal demand for major power plants and enterprises across the country continues to rise. The 10,000-ton train driven by Maliwei is 1,600 meters long, and the altitude of the section is vertically lowered by 1,100 meters. The vertical height difference between the front and rear of the car is about 11 stories high. This year marks the 21st Spring Festival travel rush after Ma Liwei started working. With the complex driving environment and the frequent freezing rain and snow in the Taihang Mountains, this Spring Festival travel rush is not easy for Ma Liwei.

When the trip was about to fly, Maliwei would accurately call for the hand-to-player every time he encountered a signal light, and he would concentrate on operating the motorcycle, and dare not slacken at all. "Enter the growth uphill in front of you, pay attention to spreading sand and controlling speed reasonably to prevent idling and sliding." Deputy driver Wang Dongshuai conscientiously carried out standardized operations and gave safety reminders to the driver.

As the 10,000-ton train entered the Taihang Mountains, the number of undulating ramps increased, and the frequency of the two people calling and answering increased significantly. Maliwei combines the ramp curve and the operation characteristics of 10,000 tons of trains to accurately brake the brakes at millimeters, safely passing through the undulating ramps and complex sections.

At 23:53, the 72520 train on Ma Liwei arrived at Changzi South Station safely and successfully completed the duty-to-drive task. In the next five or six days, he will have to go through three cycle crossings of "Tangyin East-Zhangzi South-Taiqian North (Ji Mineral Logistics)-Tangyin East", which will take a total of 2,100 kilometers.
